St. Matthew, Galena, IL, will have their first vote on Sunday, April 3.  If it is successful, the congregation will make a decision regarding which church to join.  Please keep St. Matthew, & Pastor Fred Baltz in your prayers.

Prayer Request

Friends,

I would like to ask your prayers on behalf of First Lutheran Church, Paxton, IL.  On Sunday, March 27, 2011, they will hold a congregational meeting to take a first vote to leave the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.  Last fall, they took a vote to leave.  Although it had a large majority in favor of leaving, they failed to reach the two-thirds necessary by two votes.

May the Holy Spirit lead and guide them in their discussions and decisions.
