Christian Sympathy

We extend our sympathy to Rev. Gary Blobaum, whose father, Duane, completed his baptismal journey.  A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 17, at 2:00 p.m. at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Urbana, IL.  A visitation will be held at 1:30 until the time of the service.

Eternal God, we bless you for the great company of those who have finished their course in faith and now rest from their labor.  We praise you for Duane, whom you have graciously received into your presence.  Comfort his family.  By your presence lead us all through our years, and bring us at last with all your saints into the joy of your eternal home.  Amen

New Ministries in Illinois

Dear freinds, two mission congregations start their first worship tomorrow. These ministries are planted in the great city of Chicago! One is an African mission near down town Chicago while the second one is led by an Indian mission Pastor from Asia on the north west side. It is a great day for the Gospel mission.  Gemechis Buba will be shuttling between Chicago and Kirkland IL. tomorrow.
