Of immediate interest

Friends,

Keep in prayer Bishop Bradosky, Bishop Emeritis Paull Spring, and Pastor David Wendell who are in Rome.  On Thursday morning (about midnight our time) they will be meeting with individuals from the Vatican on Christian Unity.  Pray that their conversations will be fruitful.

We are planning to have our Mission District on November 5 at First, Paxton.

Pastor Carl Rasmussen and members of First Lutheran Church, Kirkland, will be attending the Congregation Redevelopment conference in North Carolina on Nov. 3-5.  He has told me that there is still room available.  If you are interested, please see the NALC website for information.  It is intended to help congregations with less than 150 average worship attendance to refocus on their mission and, therefore, to be energized on outreach and mission.  People who have gone have found this to be very helpful.  Again, if you are interested, check the NALC website quickly.

God's blessings,

Pastor Jim Lehmann -- provisional dean

Be sure to look at the NALC Facebook page. There are photos of our delegation in Rome. Very thankful!
