Upcoming events in our district

Here are a few dates to remember in the Great Rivers Mission District. 

January 28 -- The Mission District Council will meet at St. John, Danforth, at 9:00 a.m.

January 29 -- Rev. Lauren Ley will be installed as Pastor of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Metropolis.  The service will be held at 5:00 p.m.

January 29 -- St. Paul Lutheran Church will decide on whether or not to join the North American Lutheran Church.  It is currently a member of Lutheran Congregations in Mission for Christ.  If it passes, the congregation will have a dual-affiliation.  Rev. Gary Blobaum serves St. Paul and he currently is a pastor in NALC and LCMC.

February 4 -- Rev. Heidi Punt will be installed as associate Pastor of First Lutheran Church, Pontiac.  The Saturday evening service begins at 5:30 p.m.
